Dolor Amarus is a passive feature that deals extra damage when you make a critical hit.

Description

When you land a Critical Hit with a weapon or unarmed attack, it deals an additional 7 damage.

How to learn

Notes

  • The in-game description prior to Patch #7 is incorrect and reads: When you land a Critical Hit with this weapon, it deals an additional 7 damage.
  • This effect stacks, and you can activate it multiple times if you have multiple weapons with this passive.
  • This effect also stacks on multiple damage riders, which could potentially lead to massive bonus from different damage sources.
  • The name dolor amarus is Latin for "harsh suffering" or "bitter sorrow".

Bugs

  • Despite the in-game description stating that it deals additional damage when making a critical hit with an unarmed attack, it does not deal an additional 7 damage; this is possibly a bug.[Needs Verification]
  • This effect does not apply on throw attacks.[Needs Verification]
