Notes

  • As of the current patch (Patch 6), Thorn Blade can be acquired multiple times. It seems to have a chance to reappear in Dammon's merchant stock whenever it resets, like non-unique equipment. (Tested on the Xbox version of the game.)
  • If a player has two copies of Thorn Blade equipped, their damage bonus while concentrating will stack, resulting in additional 2d4 damage instead of 1d4.
    • This behaviour only applies outside of Honour mode. In Honour mode, you will only get 1d4Damage TypesPoison damage even with two copies equipped.
  • The description in Honour Mode is erroneous. Whereas the extra damage normally applies to all melee attacks (as per the description of the weapon), the extra damage in Honour Mode only applies to attacks with the weapon itself. This is because in the normal base game the extra damage is added via the passive, whereas in Honour Mode the damage is derived directly from the weapon itself. The fact that this is at odds with the description of the weapon was likely an oversight.
