The term Gith can refer to the ancient leader of the same name, or a race of humanoids enslaved by the Mind Flayers for millennia.

  • Gith (person), one of the leaders of the thrall rebellion and mother of Orpheus Orpheus, mentioned several times over the course of Baldur's Gate 3.
  • A race of humanoids enslaved by the Mind Flayers for millennia, before being divided into multiple races.
    • Githyanki, one of the two primary splinter groups of Gith, a militant race from the Astral Plane.
    • Githzerai, one of the two primary splinter groups of Gith, an ascetic race from the Limbo Plane.
