Mercer

Chamberlain Mercer is a gnome employee to Lady Jannath. He can be found on the second floor of Lady Jannath's Estate in the Lower City if Oskar Fevras was never rescued from Brem in Act One.

Involvement

Mercer can be found berating Servant Bailey on the second floor of the manor. If the party does nothing, Bailey will be fired and will leave on his own. The party can prevent his firing by passing one of the following ability checks:

• [PERSUASION] That's rude. Do you want me to report to your employer that a guest was shocked by your rudeness? (DC 18)
• [INTIMIDATION] I don't like bullies. Apologise to this man or you'll regret it. (DC 18)

Afterwards, Mercer will patrol the upper floors of the manor and will eject the party if they are caught upstairs.
