Sterlac

Sterlac is a Party Guest who can be found dead in the main ballroom of the Szarr Palace in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Sterlac is yet another party go-er who got enticed into participating, not knowing it was a trap set by vampires to feast on his blood. He can be spoken to with Speak with Dead.

Party Member: Who are you?

Party Guest: Sterlac... Senior Clerk in Counting House...
- Party Member: What was a clerk doing here?
- Party Member: What were you doing here?
  - Party Guest: Enjoying party... drinking... talking...
    - Party Member: Talking about what?
      - Party Guest: Work... Counting House... who controls what...
        Party Guest: Wanted names of senior staff... families... any scandals, secrets...

Party Member: Who killed you?

Party Guest: Wolves... arrived when our host left... slaughtered us...
- Party Member: Where did your host go?
  - Party Guest: West door... took most beautiful people away... never saw again...

Party Member: Who else was here?

Party Guest: Politicians... minor nobles... Fist officers... all sorts...
- Party Member: What did he want with these people?
  - Party Guest: Information... asked so many questions...
    - Party Guest: Power structures in city... weaknesses... who he needed to control...
