Tingmiaq

Tingmiaq is a named blue jay that can be found in the Sacred Pool next to Apikusis in Baldur's Gate 3.

Involvement

Upon entering the grove, Apikusis can be seen giving a message to Tingmiaq. Afterwards, he will takeoff to deliver the message.

Speak with Animals

He can be spoken to with Speak with Animals before he takes off, although he is in a hurry and will only answer one question before he goes:

• Party member: Where are you going?
  • Tingmiaq: To find Halsin. There's not a moment to lose!
• Party member: What's the rush?
  • Tingmiaq: I have to find Halsin. There's not a moment to lose!
• Party member: I need information, friend. Spare me a moment? (Druid only)
  • Tingmiaq: For one of our own. But be quick.
    • Party member: What's waiting for us outside this grove? In the wilds?
      • Tingmiaq: Goblins. Gnolls. All manner of monsters!
      • Tingmiaq: Goblins. Gnolls. Even elves that look like you. (if you're a Drow Elf)
      • Tingmiaq: Goblins. Gnolls. Even a couple of your underground cousins. (if you're an Elf/Half-Elf)
• Party member: Do you know Baldur's Gate? Is the city far? (if Baldurian)
  • Tingmiaq: I know these hills, and there's no city here.
• Party member: I'm looking for the druid Halsin. Where is he?
  • Tingmiaq: That's what I'm trying to find out!
