As I've written in the comment, I've tried to add an explanatory example of how a multiple ignition of a smokepowder bomb appears in the game log, for I've add some problems understanding and replicating it, and thought it could be a nice help.
I hope it actually is as helpful as I feel it is, but if someone can or want to further improve it with even more details or polishing, I'd be happy!
