You specialise in unravelling and restitching the fabric of reality to fool the unwary, the gullible, and the monstrous.

Illusion School is one of the Subclasses of Wizard. These Wizards are specialized in illusory magic that can hide where they are, detect the invisible, or trick enemies into wasting actions.

Subclass Features

This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Wizard, in addition to its unique features outlined below.

Level 2

Illusion Savant
Halves the cost to learn Illusion spells from Scrolls. Learning these spells will only cost Gold Pile Single Item Image.png 25 gp per spell level.
Improved Minor Illusion (passive feature) Improved Minor Illusion (passive feature)
You can cast Minor Illusion Minor Illusion as a Bonus Action. You can remain hidden while casting this spell. This spell can be cast while you are Silenced Silenced.

Level 6

See Invisibility See Invisibility
Once per Short Rest, as an Action, you can cast the spell See Invisibility See Invisibility without consuming a Spell Slot.

Level 10

Illusory Self Illusory Self
As a Reaction, you magically fashion an illusory duplicate of yourself when attacked, causing the attack to miss. After use, this ability cannot be used until after a short rest.
