Adroit Caster is a toggleable passive feature that allows you to cast a cantrip at a second creature at the same time.

Description

Cantrips targeting foes and allies can target an additional creature. The same target can be chosen twice. Cantrips require the targets to be close together, unless those cantrips are projectiles.

Notes

  • The tooltip for this item is incorrect - the same target cannot be chosen twice.
  • This effect stacks additively with Twinned Spell, meaning that a total of three targets must be chosen if both effects are used jointly.
  • Eldritch Blast Eldritch Blast only receives one additional blast and not a new full set, e.g. a level 10 warlock gets 4 (3+1) blasts and not 6 (2x3)
  • Cantrips that do not use projectiles instead grant the spells an area of effect, the nearest target to the primary target within this area is chosen to take the second attack.
    • When combined with Twinned spell, this allows these cantrips to hit 4 creatures instead of the expected 3, as you cast two of the spell with it's added area of effect.
