During and after the party is attacked by a group of vampire spawn during the night:

Deceive Leon and Aurelia that Astarion is going to save them if they follow him. +1
Persuade or intimidate them if you haven't learned of the Rite of Profane Ascension yet. +1
Tell Astarion, you are sorry, or to move forward and get revenge after the assault. +1
Say, the world can be a wonderful, kind place, when you find a home in it or that there are many others who will care for him, if he cares for them. +1
Ask "I am rather special, aren't I?" +1
Agree that it doesn't matter, that the other spawn have to die in the Black Mass. +1

Disapproval

Camp/Conversations
During and after the party is attacked by a group of vampire spawn during the night:

Tell Leon and Aurelia that they can take Astarion to Cazador. -1
- Fail to persuade Astarion after the fight that you were only teasing him. (If in a romance, he will end it.) -3
Berate Astarion for deceiving them about their part in the Rite of Profane Ascension. -3
Tell Astarion not to act haughty or what his life matters during the conversation following his siblings assault. -1
Tell him that Cazador truly broke him, or that he shouldn't have given up. -1

Storyline

Act One

To start the romance with Astarion, the character must agree to spend at least one night with him in Act 1. Depending on his approval and dialogue choices, Astarion will propose to have sex up to three times.
