Spider meat

Spider meat is an interactable spider carcass found in the Gauntlet of Shar during Act 2. It is part of the quest Kill Raphael's Old Enemy.

Interactions

Passing a passive Wisdom (Perception) check when inspecting the meat will let the player notice that it smells of magic.

Lick the carcass.

•  Gale,  Minthara and  Shadowheart disapprove.  Karlach approves.
  • Sup once more upon the flesh.
    •  Gale,  Minthara and  Shadowheart disapprove.

Study it

• DC 14 Investigation check to discover bite marks.
  • Scan the meat for signs of magical interference.
    • DC 14 Arcana check to discover that it's been dosed with a potion.

Passing both skill checks will let the player persuade or deceive the Displacer Beast Nessa, potentially having her attack Yurgir.
