That bridge was going to be my passage to Baldur's Gate. To safety. Now I've to find another way.

Gameplay

Ellyka is initially neutral, but can become hostile if provoked.

While in combat with Ellyka, it is still possible for a character to move into the trigger zone for the usual cutscene that occurs at the Mountain Pass area. This will abruptly end the combat encounter, and Ellyka will run away from the location, but remain marked as "hostile."[1]

Ellyka can later be found dead at Crèche Y'llek. Using speak with dead you can discover she travelled to Rosymorn looking for the Blood of Lathander, and was captured and tortured by the Githyanki for information on Moonrise.

Conversation

  • For most player-avatar characters, Ellyka will warn the character she is speaking to about a group of Githyanki up ahead.
  • Ellyka is 'less friendly' to characters using a Githyanki racial appearance. She will refer to the character as a 'flatface' and a few unique dialogue choices are available to select.
  • While speaking to Ellyka as a Githyanki character, she will attack the party if the player selects any of:
    • "They may be my kin. I will investigate."
    • "First and last warning - lower that weapon."
