Combat Inspiration

Combat Inspiration is a Class Feature available to College of Valour Bards. This ability is an enhanced version of Bardic Inspiration that adds the ability to increase the target's armour class and damage.

Description

Inspire an ally to add a +1d6 bonus to their next Attack Roll, Ability Check, Saving Throw, weapon damage, or  Armour Class.

Properties

Bonus action + Bardic Inspiration Charge

•  Range: 18 m / 60 ft
• Duration: Until Long rest
• Bard Level 3:
  • Recharge: Long rest
• Bard Level 5+:
  • Recharge: Short rest
• Once Combat Inspiration has been granted, the target receives one of the following effects, whichever they use first:
  • Bard Level 3:
    • Valiant Roll (Toggleable Passive Feature): +1d6 bonus to the next Ability Check
    • Valiant Defence (Reaction): +1d6 bonus to the next Saving Throw or bonus to  Armour Class for the next attack
    • Valiant Attack (Reaction): +1d6 bonus to the next Attack Roll
    • Valiant Damage (Reaction): +1d6 bonus damage to the next Weapon Attack
  • Bard Level 5:
    • Valiant Roll (Toggleable Passive Feature): +1d8 bonus to the next Ability Check
    • Valiant Defence (Reaction): +1d8 bonus to the next Saving Throw or bonus to  Armour Class for the next attack
    • Valiant Attack (Reaction): +1d8 bonus to the next Attack Roll
    • Valiant Damage (Reaction): +1d8 bonus damage to the next Weapon Attack
  • Bard Level 10:
    • Valiant Roll (Toggleable Passive Feature): +1d10 bonus to the next Ability Check
    • Valiant Defence (Reaction): +1d10 bonus to the next Saving Throw or bonus to  Armour Class for the next attack
    • Valiant Attack (Reaction): +1d10 bonus to the next Attack Roll
    • Valiant Damage (Reaction): +1d10 bonus damage to the next Weapon Attack
