Random trivia or personal takes that I think are cool

• Branthos should've been a paladin.
• Skywin has a unique cutscene where she talks to the party while aiming an arrow with her bow at them and it's the coolest thing ever.
• Every single Harper that survives Act Two or Moonrise Towers should've been able to respawn and fight the Dark Urge alongside Jaheira if the latter embraces Bhaal.
• For some reason 90% of all Flaming Fist clerics are dwarves.
  • There's like 130 unique named Flaming Fists in the entire game.
    • I think it'd be really cool if we saw maybe one or two Underdark race Flaming Fists in the background for environmental storytelling about how cosmopolitan Baldur's Gate is.
•  Mirror Image looks and sounds super super cool.
• If for some whatever reasons the hirelings were to be transformed into proper companions, Maddala Deadeye would have by far the best current background and story line. Her plot point is already set up, and has her own motivations to fight against the Cult of the Absolute. Not to mention, she has a quirk with her eyes that can be used as a constant reminder of her background or as a quirk to make her stand out among the other hirelings.
• Personally, I think Kagha could've been one of the best companions in the game if the writers decided to engage in a player-influenced redemption or "I can make her worse" companion questline with her. She has great untapped and wasted potential, and there are so many plot points or threads that could be weaved in order to cement or foment an amazing story with her character — meanwhile, Halsin just... exists. As a self-insert hornybait, or something.
• The Circle of the Emerald Grove would make for a very cool possible ally during High Hall if we ended their questline on good terms (maybe I can make a mod that does that...).
  • There should've been a generic Watcher Guardian faction that would be permanent allies at High Hall.
• For some reason, Beorn Wunterbrood feels like a failsafe even though he isn't — who is he? Why is he the one holding the speech at the climax of the game? What rank is he? Isn't he just a regular Flaming Fist?
  • Ulder Ravengard would make for a good speech-holder at the end if he is alive. But if not, I would've loved it if Marshal Liara Portyr was the one holding it instead if he doesn't, and if Liara Portyr is dead, that then it'd be Beorn Wunterbrood.
• Did you know there are two  Speak with Dead characters in High Hall? One is is a Dead Flaming Fist corpse called Halfar and a Cleric of Ilmater, he died trying to help save the civilians. The other is a Dead Cultist and Zealot called Lewis Morell whose reason for joining the Absolute is wanting to matter, and to not just be "another worker mistreated and replaced by the Steel Watch".
  • There's also a random escaping civilian called File:Wrenfrew the Barker Icon.webp Wrenfrew the Barker! Who is he? No idea, you can't even talk to the guy.
