Helldusk Armour is a legendary heavy Armour that can be worn even without any proficiency. It also grants Fire resistance and reduces damage by 3 from all sources. Lastly, it also grants the Fly spell.

Carixim, soul-stuffed forgemaster of hellish Avernus, hammers away ceaselessly at new creations. Questions of morality and destiny do not concern him. Conscience is for his betters. He works with cheer, his swollen skin moaning soothingly.

Bugs

  • This armor causes the Defense fighting style to give +2 AC (instead of just +1) when worn alongside at least one other piece of gear that counts as armor (e.g. a light armor helm). Likely a bug (v4.1.1.4425968).
  • Items such as Bracers of Defence, Bonespike Boots, and Corellon's Grace that are not supposed to give their bonuses while wearing armour still provide their benefits with the Helldusk Armour equipped.
  • The extra movement speed granted to monks by Unarmoured Movement is not lost when wearing this armour. However, the armor still causes Rage Impeded for barbarians.
  • As of patch #6, you still can get this armour in act 1. Briefly: (1) have another party member out of sight to attack Raphael when you encounter him first time, which will cause him to disappear; (2) Raphael will next appear in your camp, and this time, silence him and then try to knock him out without killing him (i.e. by turning on the non-lethal passive) - this allows you to loot his armour.
