Call Lightning

Call Lightning is a level 3 conjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to call down lightning to hit all targets within range. The spellcaster can also continue to call down lightning repeatedly on subsequent turns.

Description

Call down lightning to hit all targets within range and its area of effect for 3d10Lightning damage. Then for 10 turns, you can call down lightning again without expending a spell slot.

Upcast: When the spell is cast using a 4th level spell slot or higher, damage increases by 1d10Lightning for each Spell Slot Level above 3rd for the first cast and given free casts.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class Level 5: Druid, Tempest Domain, Circle of the Land (Coast or Forest), and Warlock (via Pact of the Tome once per long rest)

• Class Level 6: Storm Sorcery, and College of Lore (Magical Secrets)

• Class Level 10: Bard (Magical Secrets)

Notes

The incantation for Call Lightning is Perurē, the Latin command "burn/scorch!"
