Necrotic Rats are a type of beast which can be found in the Gauntlet of Shar during Act Two.

Gameplay

Necrotic Rats will spawn while fighting the rat swarm in the Gauntlet of Shar, after killing a certain amount of rats. They spawn more frequently the more rats are killed.

They have a slightly higher Strength and Dexterity than regular rats, and their bite deals additional Necrotic damage.
