Note: All companions have the File:Prey's Scent Icon.png Prey's Scent passive ability, which allows them to do an extra 1d6 damage to targets marked by Hunter's Mark.

Levels 1-4

Bear (Ursa)

Summon a black Bear companion that can draw the enemy's attention and endure heavy attacks. Abilities: Goading Roar and Claws Your bear companion has 19 Hit Points and 11 AC.

Boar (Verres)

Summon a Boar companion that can sweep through the battlefield and knock enemies off their feet. Abilities: Tusk Attack and Boar Charge Your boar companion has 11 Hit Points and 11 AC.

Dire Raven (Corvus)

Summon a Dire Raven companion that can cover great distances and Blind enemies. Abilities: Beak Attack, Rend Vision and can Fly. Your dire raven companion has 13 Hit Points and 16 AC. It is also proficient in Perception. Of note is that this companion won't cause NPC's to flee in terror.

Wolf (Lupus)

Summon a Wolf that can inflict devastating wounds and knock enemies Prone. Abilities: Lunging Bite and Bite. Like all wolves, this companion also has the Pack Tactics passive feature. Your wolf companion has 11 Hit Points and 13 AC. It is also proficient in Stealth and Perception.

Wolf Spider (Aranea)

Summon a Wolf Spider companion that can poison enemies and shoot webs from afar. Abilities: Web and Venomous Bite Your wolf spider companion has 10 Hit Points and 14 AC. Also has Darkvision up to 12m / 40ft, and can walk on webs unimpeded.

Level 5+

At level 5 you gain the Companion's Bond ability, which causes your summoned companions receive a bonus to Armour Class, damage, and attack rolls (even though this is not stated) equal to your Proficiency Bonus. They also receive upgraded Hit Points, new abilities, and a visual upgrade, as described below.

Bear (Ursa Major)

New Ability: Honeyed Paws

Your Bear companion now has 39 Hit Points and 15 AC. Its Constitution increases by 2.

Boar (Verres Major)

New Abilities: Rage (Boar), Frenzied Strike (Boar)

Your Boar companion now has 27 Hit Points and 14 AC. Its Strength increases by 2.

Dire Raven (Corvus Major)

Ability Upgrade: The damage of its Beak Attack increases by 1d4. New Ability: Bad Omen

Your Dire Raven companion now has 21 Hit Points and 19 AC. Its Constitution increases by 2.

Wolf (Lupus Major)

Ability Upgrade: Bite upgrades to Infectious Bite

Your Wolf companion now has 31 Hit Points and 16 AC. Its Constitution increases by 3.

Wolf Spider (Aranea Major)

New Ability: Entomb

Your Wolf Spider companion now has 24 Hit Points and 18 AC. Its Dexterity increases by 2

Level 7+

At level 7, you gain the Exceptional Training ability, which allows all your companions to Dash, Disengage and Help as a bonus action.

Level 8+

All companions gain additional Hit Points.

Bear (Ursa Major)

Your Bear companion now has 59 Hit Points and 15 AC.

Boar (Verres Major)

Your Boar companion now has 51 Hit Points and 14 AC.

Dire Raven (Corvus Major)

Your Dire Raven companion now has 32 Hit Points and 19 AC.

Wolf (Lupus Major)

Your Wolf companion now has 61 Hit Points and 16 AC.

Wolf Spider (Aranea Major)

Your Wolf Spider companion now has 42 Hit Points and 18 AC.

Level 11+

At level 11 you get the Bestial Fury ability, which grants all your companions an extra attack. They also receive upgraded Hit Points, new abilities, and a visual upgrade, as described below.

Bear (Ursa Major)

New Ability: Ursine Reinforcements.

Your Bear companion now has 89 Hit Points and 16 AC. Its Strength Increases by 4.

Boar (Verres Major)

New Ability: File:Kick Up Muck.png Kick Up Muck.

Your Boar companion now has 85 Hit Points and 17 AC. Its Constitution increases by 4.

Dire Raven (Corvus Major)

Ability Upgrade: The extra damage added at level 5 increases from 1d4 to 1d6. Additionally, whenever the Dire Raven uses Fly, it casts Darkness on its landing location for 2 turns. It also gains the Raven Sight passive feature which prevents the Raven from being Blinded.

New Ability: File:On Black Wings.png On Black Wings.

Your Dire Raven companion now has 44 Hit Points and 20 AC. Its Wisdom increases by 2, and its Charisma increases by 2.

Wolf (Lupus Major)

New Ability: File:Lupine Slash.png Lupine Slash.

Your Wolf companion now has 91 Hit Points and 21 AC. Its Dexterity increases by 3.

Wolf Spider (Aranea Major)

New Ability: File:Bursting Brood.png Bursting Brood. It also gains the Eight-Legged Waltz passive feature, which grants the Wolf Spider extra movement speed and Resistance to Poison Damage whenever it starts its turn on a Web.

Your Wolf Spider companion now has 54 Hit Points and 19 AC. Its Wisdom increases by 3.
