Well, I mean... kind of? It's a long story, honestly.

Permanently acquiring Shovel

[[1]]

Open Questions

  • Is it possible to rename Shovel after acquiring the permanent ability to summon her?

Needs Verification

  • You can't learn to summon Shovel during the first conversation if you cast the spell from the scroll.
  • Some classes can learn it if they speak with Shovel after that. But not always and I haven't figured out why (yet?).
  • If a wizard scribed the spell and follows some dialogue rules, another caster can then also learn to summon Shovel permanently.
  • This worked with wizard, warlock and sorcerer - subclasses made no difference in my tests.
  • A character can temporarily respecc for this method and the spell stays available even when changing to a non caster again.

Warlocks

  • Warlocks can sometimes learn Shovel if they summons her from the scroll, use disguise self and talk to her again - seems redundant.

Sorcerer

  • Sorcerer have class specific dialogue options when summoning Shovel from the scroll but none of them led to learning the spell
