condition can be applied to character from an Altar to Shar in the Gauntlet of Shar (X:-807 Y:-816), a bunch of rats are looking at it--GoingMenthol (talk) 18:53, 28 December 2023 (CET)Reply[reply]

Source of Shar-stricken

Failed religion prayer at shar alter.

Altar interaction with cleric of Selûne

If the character interacting with the altar to Shar is a cleric of Selûne, they do not get a Religion skill check like most other characters do. Instead, as Shar is Selûne's estranged twin sister, they get the option to offer a prayer of reconciliation. Choosing to offer this prayer gets them Shar-Stricken, but it also gains approval from Shadowheart (+5 approval, if the Overexplained Interaction Options mod on Nexus is to be believed).

Direct text from the game:

Cleric of Selûne: [SELÛNE] Selûne's rival, but also her sister. Offer a prayer of reconciliation.

Narrator: *Your silent gesture vanishes into a pitiless, dark void. Your heart aches faintly with an inexplicable feeling of loss.*

Narrator, upon the cleric of Selûne interacting with the altar again: *A small prickle of dread finds your heart as you look upon the altar.* Cosmogyral-delirium (talk) 07:18, 1 May 2024 (CEST)Reply[reply]
