Tasha's Hideous Laughter

Tasha's Hideous Laughter is a Level 1 Enchantment Spell. This spell allows spellcasters to send a targeted creature into a fit of laughter and fall Prone.

Description

Inflict a creature with fits of laughter, leaving it Prone without the ability to get up.

At the end of its turn or when it takes damage, the creature can try to shake off the effect.

Available to level 1 Bard and Wizard.

• Prerequisite: The creature must have an Intelligence of 5 or more.
• Range: 18m / 60ft
• Saving Throw: Wisdom
• Concentration: Required

• Can't move or act, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws.
• Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if they're made within 3m / 10ft of the creature.
  • Note: While not stated in the spell description or condition description, attacks made within 3m / 10ft actually automatically hit and are automatically Critical Hits (as of Early Access Patch 9). This is because Tasha's Hideous Laughter also applies the Unconscious status, in addition to Prone. This may be a bug.
