Vivacious Cloak is an uncommon Cloak that grants the wearer 7 temporary Hit Points when casting a spell in melee.
The sheer mortal terror of the low-vitality spellcaster (who can be blown over by a wafted spoon) can be partially offset by cloaks like this one.

Notes
As of Patch 2, this item appears to be bugged. It grants the wearer 8 temporary Hit Points but triggers multiple times for spells with multiple projectiles like Magic Missile.
