Alfira is a Tiefling NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. She can be found at the Druid Grove on a cliff overlooking the ritual, trying to compose a song.
Act One
Spoiler warning: The following content contains unhidden spoilers. Read at your own risk. |
The player can found her frustrated over not being able to compose a song for her recently dead teacher, Lihala. She can be inspired by the player through words or form a duet to help her in her song. If successful, she will compose The Weeping Dawn.
After playing her song, she'll confess in tears she was there with her teacher when they were ambushed by Gnolls, who killed Lihala, and was just trying to create a worthy eulogy for her.
If she is alive after the player returns from the Goblin Camp, she'll be found talking with Lakrissa at the Party, and will offer the player to compose a song about them and their deeds.
If the player doesn't wish to help her, they can either leave, or rob, or destroy her lute.
The Dark Urge Origin
Spoiler warning! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.
Act Two
In Act Two, Alfira can be found inside the Last Light Inn sitting by the fire at X: -66 Y: 142. Upon speaking to her, the player will learn that some of the tieflings were taken to Moonrise Towers, thus starting the Rescue the Tieflings quest. If Lakrissa is successfully saved along with the other tieflings, Alfira will reward you with the Potent Robe and various other loot.
Note: Alfira will still appear at the Last Light Inn even if the player does not interact with her or Lakrissa at the Druid Grove in Chapter One, provided that she is still alive.
Act Three
In Act Three, assuming she survives the events of previous acts, Alfira can be found on the rooftop of the Elfsong Tavern.
Trivia
- Alfira is voiced by Rebecca Hanssen.
- Though dialogue refers to her as a bard, she has no spells from the class and notably has a much higher Intelligence than Charisma.
