Nymessa is a Tiefling NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. She can be found alongside Damays in the Wilderness, having captured Lae'zel.

Even though Nymessa is a Tiefling, as of Patch 9 of Early Access she does not have Darkvision. This may be a bug.

Chapter One

After the fall of the Nautiloid, she and her partner Damays captured Lae'zel and are discussing what to do with her. The player can then convince them to aid the party in killing her, or setting her free by passing an Ability Check. If the player is either a Drow, Drow Half-Elf, or a Githyanki, both will attempt to fight. The player can then dissuade the Tieflings with an Intimidation check.

Before leaving, the player can ask both of them if they know of a healer. They will send the player to Nettie, updating the Find a Cure and starting the Get Help from Healer Nettie quests.

If the player has chosen Lae'zel as their Origin, Nymessa and Damays will already be dead when the player arrives at their usual location.
