Transfuse Health is an Action and Illithid Power. This ability allows the character to heal a target by half the caster's current hit point value.

Description

Sacrifice half your remaining hit points to heal a target for the same amount.

Properties

Action

  •  Range: 9 m / 30 ft
  • Recharge: Per Turn

Notes

  • Affects any entity, including party members, allies, enemies, inanimate objects, so long as they have a hit point value.
  • Hurts you by half your current hit point value, which can break concentration.
  • Does not take into account Temporary Hit Points when calculating the heal amount, but it will deduct them when hurting the caster. For example, having a character with 50 Hit Points and 10 Temporary Hit Points use Transfuse Health on an ally will heal them for 25 Hit Points, and will damage the caster by 25, reducing their Hit Point value to 35.
  • This skill is particularly noteworthy due to the fact that it is the only heal action in the game that can heal any entity. There are some quests in the game where you are supposed to defend inanimate objects from an onslaught of enemies, and this skill can "heal" the object in question.
