Summon Companion is a Subclass Feature of Rangers learned immediately upon choosing the Beast Master subclass. This ability allows the Beast Master to call upon their animal companion to fight and aid them in combat.
Description
Gain a beast companion that accompanies you on your adventures and fights alongside you.

Level 5+
At level 5 you gain the Companion's Bond ability, which causes your summoned companions receive a bonus to Armour Class, damage, and attack roles (even though this is not stated) equal to your Proficiency Bonus. They also receive upgraded Hit Points, new abilities, and a visual upgrade, as described below.
