Disarming Attack (Melee) is a Battle Master Fighter Action. This combat maneuver allows the Fighter to deal damage to enemies with Melee Weapons and possibly make them drop their Weapons.

Description

Spend a superiority die to deal Weapon Damage + 1d8 Physical damage and potentially force the target to drop the weapons they are holding.

Properties

Action + Superiority Die d8 Icon.png Superiority Die

  • Target must have a weapon in their main hand
  • Damage: Weapon Damage + 1d8Damage TypesPhysical (Inherits Weapon Damage Type)
  • Attack roll
  •  Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft (Inherits Weapon Range)
  • Strength saving throw to negate the disarm effect

At Higher Levels

When this maneuver is used at Battle Master level 10, the damage added by the Superiority Die increases to 1d10Damage TypesPhysical (not available in Early Access).
