Shadow Vestiges are the remains of a defeated Shadow. Rather than being traditional loot, these vestiges are glowing balls that produce banter when clicked on, providing a glimpse into the life each Shadow lived before they were transformed by the shadow curse.

Ruined Battlefield
Near X: -40 Y: -110, two Shadows accosting Rolan drop vestiges:.
- She was a healer, trying to aid the wounded in the battle against the Sharrans. But there were so many...
- You sense that this one was once a fisherman, taught by his father.
Two more vestiges sit nearby at X: -40 Y: -117 andX: -32 Y: -100, presumed to have been destroyed by Rolan himself.
- X: -32 Y: -100: You see an old boot, balanced upside down on a cobbler's knee, as he taps the final nail into the new sole. Good as new.
- X: -40 Y: -117: You sense a faded memory of marching in an army against Ketheric Thorm. Victory seemed possible back then.
Last Light Inn
As part of the quest Lift the Shadow Curse, two Wraiths and four Shadows drop vestiges when assaulting the Shadow Crossing:

- Desperate prayers to Selûne, echoing from the past. They did not save him.
- You sense a fading echo of the person who once was. A dockhand. He did not ask for this.
- You can almost feel the heat from the forge. This one was once a blacksmith.
- A faded memory of a boy and girl sharing their first kiss. Your own heart almost flutters in tune with theirs.
Reithwin Town
Near the heart of the town at X: 152 Y: -40, three Shadows drop vestiges:
- An older man turns his head away in shame. His neighbors would not renounce Selûne - now they hang in the town square.
