Githyanki are one of the Playable Race of Baldur's Gate 3.
Githyanki gain a +2 to Strength and +1 to Intelligence.
About the Githyanki
Githyanki are peerless warriors from the Astral Plane, known for their legendary silver blades and red dragon mounts. They seek the total destruction of Mind Flayers, whose ancient empire enslaved the Githyanki for millennia.
Racial Features

- Light Armour Proficiency: You gain Proficiency with Light Armours.
- Medium Armour Proficiency: You gain Proficiency with Medium Armours.

Githyanki Society
Githyanki are ruled by their Queen Vlaakith and lead by her knights, the Kith'rak.
Githyanki are hatched from eggs all across realmspace in a place called a Crèche. Crèche act as hatcheries, training grounds, and shelters outside of the Astral Plane.
