Fist Rahir is a human Flaming Fist who appears in Last Light Inn. He is under the command of Counsellor Florrick, on a mission to rescue Duke Ravengard.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Last Light Inn[edit | edit source]

Initially on a mission led by Florrick to rescue Duke Ravengard, Rahir and the rest of the Fists were waylaid by the dangers of the Shadow-Cursed Lands and found refuge with the Harpers at Last Light Inn. Rahir can initially be found within Last Light Inn, in the same room as several other Fists, and Art Cullagh.

If Florrick wasn't rescued from Waukeen's Rest in Act One, Rahir will never appear in the game.

Resolve the Abduction[edit | edit source]

When Marcus attacks the inn and attempts to kidnap Isobel during Resolve the Abduction, Rahir will be incapacitated by a Winged Horror before the party can react, and become Impaled Impaled for the remainder of the battle. If the party fails to protect Isobel, he and everyone in Last Light Inn will turn into a Shadow-Cursed Undead Shadow-Cursed Undead, save for Jaheira.

After the battle, talking to Rahir will have him reveal that he and Marcus were close, and be in disbelief at how easily he turned against him.[1] He specifically acknowledges his treachery, but mourns the loss of him as a friend.[2]

Assault Moonrise Towers[edit | edit source]

If the party successfully prevented Marcus from capturing Isobel at the Last Light Inn, and once the Nightsong has been freed from her cage and is headed for Moonrise, Rahir will be among the Fists left by Florrick to follow Jaheira to Moonrise Towers. However, Rahir is killed during the initial fight against Absolute forces before the party can arrive. His corpse is on the bridge leading to Moonrise Towers, implying he was amongst the first to fall in battle.
