I finally had my baby - a beautiful boy. I can't believe I ever thought of giving him up. He screams his head off half the night and I've barely slept, but I'm the happiest I've ever been. | |||
Other than my wedding day, of course. | |||
I decided to name him Connor, after his dad. | |||
With the hag still at large, I've disbanded the support group and left the city. When Connor is older, I'll tell him about hags and what they've done to us. Maybe he'll want to fight back, as I do. Or maybe he'll want to forget about it - I know I wish I could. But the choice has to be his. | |||
Until then, I've gotten very handy with a blade. | |||
