Gloom Stalker is a Subclass of Ranger. Gloom Stalkers specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly from the shadows, gaining damage bonuses and increased movement speed.
Subclass features[edit | edit source]
This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Ranger, in addition to its unique features outlined below.Level 3
You gain the following spell. It is Always Prepared:
- You can see in the dark up to 24 m / 80 ft.
- You specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly. You gain a +3 bonus to Initiative. On the first turn of combat, your Movement Speed increases by 3 m / 10 ft, and you can also make an extra attack that deals an additional 1d8 damage.
- Make a melee attack that deals an extra 1d8Physical damage.
- Make a ranged attack that deals an extra 1d8Physical damage.
- As a Bonus Action, you can from enemies by succeeding on Stealth Checks. Attacking or casting a spell will make you visible.
Level 5
You gain the following spell. It is Always Prepared:

- You gain Proficiency in Wisdom and Intelligence Saving throws.
Level 9
You gain the following spell. It is Always Prepared:
Level 11
- Once on each of your turns, when you miss with a weapon attack, you can make another one for free.
