:Sadly not. Once a party wipe occurs, the game changes flags in the overarching safe file structure to indicate the change from "single save file" > "Normal game".

Anyone know why the whole party dying still wipes the prior honor mode run's status?

Sadly not. Once a party wipe occurs, the game changes flags in the overarching safe file structure to indicate the change from "single save file" > "Normal game".
