Redhammer had killed one of Umberlee's servants with his submarine. Speaking to Redhammer, he will say that Umberlee's servants often swim nearby to his submarine routes, and he has been close to hitting them several times.

The party can make a deal with Redhammer to take them to the Iron Throne, however Allandra and her waveservants will be waiting when they get back. If he is accused of killing someone, or of being guilty of aiding Gortash in imprisoning the Gondians, he will become hostile.

View of the Flymm Cargo Warehouse from the bay.

Flymm Cargo is a warehouse located in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate in Act Three. It is found along the southern shore, north-west of The Counting House at X: -169 Y: -150.

Overview

The inside of the warehouse has been taken over by several worgs, who appear to have killed their goblin handler. In the north-western corner is a partially concealed hatch leading to the basement.

Basement

The basement can be accessed either through a hatch inside the warehouse or a very messy path up from the Lower City Sewers. The basement is empty, except for the machine parts storage room where you will meet Redhammer near his submarine.

You can either convince Redhammer to take you to the Iron Throne, or kill him and control the submarine yourself.

If Gortash is defeated before visiting the Iron Throne, then Redhammer will disappear from the basement, and a Letter of Resignation will be left on the floor in his place.

Avenge the Drowned

Main quest article: Avenge the Drowned

The Water Queen's House in the Lower City is holding a funeral for a recently lost waveservant. The Wavemother, Allandra Grey will ask the party to find her killer, giving little information other than the general location of Holli's death and the appearance of "black blood", and Holli (though Speak with Dead), that it was a metal monster in Grey Harbour.

After investigating the harbour and Flymm Cargo, the party will discover that the metal monster is Redhammer's submarine. Speaking to Redhammer, he will say that Umberlee's servants often swim nearby to his submarine routes, and he has been close to hitting them several times.

Alternatively, if you have already defeated Gortash, Redhammer will have left a resignation note in The Basement. Once read, it will move you to the next step of the quest.
