Piercing Shot is a Weapon Action. This action is available to characters that are proficient in and are wielding a Hand Crossbows, Heavy Crossbows or Light Crossbows in their main hand.
Description
Shoot a foe in the chest and possibly inflict Gaping Wounds. Undead and Constructs can't suffer Gaping Wounds.
Properties
- Damage: 1d8 (1~8) + Dexterity modifier Physical(Inherits Weapon Damage Type)
- Attack roll
- Range: 18 m / 60 ft (Inherits Weapon Range)
- Constitution saving throw to avoid Gaping Wounds
- Recharge: Short rest
