Duelling is a fighting style passive feature.

Description

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand, and no weapon in the other, you deal an additional 2 damage with that weapon.

You can carry a shield in your free hand and still gain this bonus.

How to learn

Classes:

Used by creatures: Bareki, Esther, and Robust Guardian

Notes

The in-game description of this feature is misleading, and reads as follows:

When you are wielding a melee weapon that is not Two-Handed or Versatile in one hand, and no weapon in the other, you deal an additional 2 damage with that weapon.

This seems to imply that it does not work with versatile weapons. However, it's possible to use a versatile weapon in one hand, with a shield in the off-hand, to gain the bonus from this feature.
