(Corrected notes about how Belm functioned in Baldur's Gate 2, noting that the extra weapon attack was specifically with the main-hand weapon and that its BG3 implementation does not grant the extra attack that BG1&2 granted with any off-hand weapon when dual wielded. To accurately implement the effect of BG2's Belm into BG3 equipping Belm would have to add an extra attack feature which stacked with other extra attack features.) |

Special weapon actions
This weapon also grants the following:

- Perfectly Balanced Strike ()
Send Belm snaking out with an adder's speed, the very exemplar of swiftness embodied in steel.
Where to find
- * Found in an Opulent Chest X: -1572 Y: 976 in Jaheira's Basement under Elerrathin's Home in the Lower City. The chest is in a room behind a DC18 locked bookcase X: -1562 Y: 980.
Notes
- This weapon was originally found in Baldur's Gate 2, and is considered one of the best weapons in that game, as it allowed the wielder to have one more attack with the weapon held in the main-hand per round.
- When Belm is equipped in the offhand, Perfectly Balanced Strike functions as an additional main-hand weapon attack. This attack uses all the stats and on-hit effects of the equipped main-hand weapon including adding your Ability Modifier to the damage without the need of Two-Weapon Fighting. This effect mimics how Belm functioned in Baldur's Gate 2, but does not grant the additional off-hand attack with Belm itself which all weapons granted when dual wielded.
