Menacing Attack (Melee) is a Battle Master Fighter Action. This combat maneuver allows the Fighter to deal damage to enemies with Melee Weapons and possibly Frighten them.

Description

Spend a superiority die to deal Weapon Damage + 1d8 Physical damage and possibly Frighten the target.

Properties

Action + Superiority Die d8 Icon.png Superiority Die

  • Damage: Weapon Damage + 1d8Damage TypesPhysical (Inherits Weapon Damage Type)
  • Attack roll
  •  Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft (Inherits Weapon Range)
  • Wisdom saving throw to negate the Frightened effect

At Higher Levels

When this maneuver is used at Battle Master level 10, the damage added by the Superiority Die increases to 1d10Damage TypesPhysical (not available in Early Access).
