Potent Cantrip

Potent Cantrip is an Evocation passive feature increases the reliability of your damaging Cantrips such that even a miss hurts your target.

Description

Your cantrips become harder to evade entirely.

When a creature succeeds its Saving throw against one of your cantrips, it still takes half the cantrip's damage, but suffers no additional effects.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 6: Evocation

Notes

• This feature only affects cantrips that have a Saving throw to avoid damage, such as  Acid Splash or  Poison Spray. It does not have any effect on cantrips that use an Attack roll, such as  Fire Bolt or  Ray of Frost.
• The exhaustive list of cantrips affected by this passive is as follows:  Acid Splash,  Poison Spray,  Psychic Rend,  Sacred Flame, and  Vicious Mockery.
