Minor Illusion is a cantrip (Illusion). It conjures a simple illusion to distract creatures.
Description
Create an illusion that compels nearby creatures to investigate.
You can remain hidden while casting this spell.
This spell can be cast while you are .
Duration: 10 turns.

At higher levels
Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

Classes:
- Class Level 3: Eldritch Knight, Arcane Trickster, and Way of Shadow
Races:
- Character level 1: High Elf, and High Half-Elf
(Character level is the sum of all class levels for a multi-classed character.)

- Illusions can cast a special version of Minor Illusion as a Bonus Action.
- Outside of combat, causes most NPCs to walk towards the illusion and surround it. This can be particularly deadly as a preparation for a first-strike ambush if you lure a number of potential targets into a small area, then hit them all with a Fireball.
- During combat, this causes enemies to turn towards the illusion.
- Springs traps if cast on top of the trap
- Placed on top of a vent it prevents gas from coming out
- Will disappear if you concentrate on another spell, but will not break concentration for existing spells
