If opening the door Mari is trying to lockpick, he dismisses her concerns with half-hearted reasoning. Barton is an experienced combatant, guiding {{CharLink|Haseid}} and Mari in their search after they hear the roof collapse (if the masonry stone has been dropped by the party) as well as rallying the group if he hears another member call for help.
