This is a condition exclusive to Shadowheart. It lasts for 1 turn and triggers at several points during the story, depending on the player's actions. The following events are known to trigger the wound:

  • Convincing Kagha to release Arabella.
  • Shadowheart looks at the broken Selûne statue in the Blighted Village.
  • Opening the gilded chest in the Owlbear Nest.
  • Letting the Owlbear Cub live.
  • Shadowheart revealing to the player that she worships Shar, (only if she is persuaded or intimidated).
  • When Shadowheart shares the wolf vision.
  • Curing Thulla's poison.
  • Receiving Selûne's Blessing Selûne's Blessing from Isobel.
  • Entering Candulhallow's Tombstones.
  • Allowing a party member other than Shadowheart to complete the Soft-Step Trial.
  • Freeing Yurgir from his contract.
  • Visiting the Philgrave's Mansion room filled with corpses.
