The following is a list of events that can occur in camp while long resting.

Act One

• Ponder all that has happened, and feel unnerved by the Mind Flayer Tadpole in your head before you fall asleep
  • Trigger: Long rest on the Ravaged Beach before proceeding any further into Act One.

• Wyll arrives at the camp, seeking Karlach
  • Trigger: Recruit Karlach but do not recruit Wyll.

• Wyll confronts Karlach, calling her a devil and seeking to kill her
  • Trigger: Recruit Karlach and Wyll without the other in the party at the time

• Mizora appears in camp to either reward Wyll for killing Karlach or punish him for not killing Karlach
  • Trigger: Recruit Wyll and either recruit or kill Karlach.

• Astarion attempts to bite you in your sleep, revealing that he's a vampire

• (Dark Urge only) Alfira or Quil visits your camp for the night…
  • Trigger: Cross the bridge to the Blighted Village.

• (Dark Urge only) Sceleritas Fel visits your camp and introduces himself
  • Trigger: Killing Alfira or Quil during a previous night.

• Lae'zel threatens to kill you if you transform. Afterward, you dream of the Dream Guardian for the first time
  • Trigger: Approach the Goblin Camp and trigger the cutscene where the Absolute speaks to you.

• Owlbear Cub events, in the following order, one per long rest; triggered by either freeing the cub from the Goblin Camp or killing the goblins before killing the Owlbear mother:
  • The owlbear cub appears at camp, can be fed, and then flees
  • The owlbear cub appears at camp wounded; if healed, it stays permanently
  • Be woken up by a sound to find the owlbear cub and Scratch sleeping next to each other; "You Have Two Hands for a Reason" achievement unlocked

• Shadowheart and Lae'zel fight over the Mysterious Artefact; Shadowheart attempts to kill Lae'zel

• (Lae'zel romance) Share an intimate night with Lae'zel
  • Trigger: Reach medium approval with Lae'zel and select the dialogue noting that she has been "looking at you differently". Then accept her advances and agree to meet her that night.

• (Astarion romance) Share an intimate night with Astarion, then comment on the scars on his back in the morning
  • Trigger: Reach good approval with Astarion then accept his advances.

• Tiefling refugees appear in camp, celebrating the defeat of the goblins
  • Trigger: Complete Defeat the Goblins.

• Minthara and the Goblins appear in camp, celebrating the raid of the grove
  • Trigger: Complete Raid the Emerald Grove.

• (Minthara romance) Share an intimate night with Minthara then learn that she has orders to kill you
  • Trigger: Choose to spend the night with Minthara after the party.

• (Shadowheart romance) Share a glass of wine and an intimate night with Shadowheart
  • Trigger: Have medium approval with Shadowheart during the Tiefling/Goblin party and accept her proposal to share a drink with her later that night.

• (Karlach romance) Share a burning hot kiss with Karlach
  • Trigger: Have medium approval with Karlach during the Tiefling party, accept her confession of love, and agree to meet her at night.

• Kith'rak Voss visits the camp and offers to help the party overthrow Vlaakith
  • Trigger: Enter the Astral Prism from Crèche Y'llek and speak to the Dream Guardian.

Act Two

• The player character visits the Dream Guardian in a dream once again. The guardian is wearing an Elegant Robe and confesses that they feel worn down due to the party's close proximity to The Absolute

• Mizora appears in camp and asks Wyll to free Zariel's asset from Moonrise Towers

• (Wyll romance) Awaken to find Wyll dancing and either join him or turn him down
  • Note: This event can ended prematurely through dialogue to prevent entering a romance with Wyll.
  • Trigger: Experience the cutscene with Mizora on a previous long rest.

• (Karlach romance) Spend an intimate night with Karlach
  • Trigger: Romance Karlach and have Dammon improve her heart twice.

• (Lae'zel romance) Have a 1-on-1 fight with Lae'zel
  • Trigger: Advance Lae'zel's personal quest (The Githyanki Warrior) by escaping Crèche Y'llek

• (Gale romance) Gale invites you to spend what may be his last evening alive with him
  • Note: This event can either be romantic or platonic depending on the dialogue options selected.
  • Trigger: Have high approval with Gale, reach the Moonrise Towers waypoint, and speak to his Projection when it appears in camp.

• (Dark Urge only) Sceleritas Fel visits your camp at night and encourages you to kill Isobel and therefore all the other residents of the Last Light Inn

• (Dark Urge only) Sceleritas Fel warns that you will kill your romantic partner (or highest approval companion if not in a romance) since you haven't satisfied your Urge
  • Trigger: Do not kill Isobel after Sceleritas's previous visit.

• (Dark Urge only) Sceleritas Fel visits your camp at night and rewards you with the Slayer form
  • Trigger: Kill Isobel and doom the residents of Last Light Inn.

Act Three

• The camp is attacked by Githyanki in the night; you flee through a portal to the Astral Realm and meet the Emperor
  • Trigger: Rest at Wyrm's Lookout after completing Act 2.

• Sit next to & converse with the Emperor in a dream; it speaks of being distracted

• (Dark Urge only) Experience a nightmare in which the Urge finally recalls their memories of Orin and realizes their true identity

• Mizora appears at camp and gives Wyll a choice between eternal servitude in exchange for saving his father versus the dissolution of his pact
  • Trigger: Speak to Mizora in Wyrm's Rock Fortress after Gortash's coronation.

• Orin kidnaps a companion
  • Trigger: Speak to Gortash at his coronation and receive his warning that your camp is compromised OR travel to the Lower City.

• (Karlach romance) Go on a date with Karlach, acquiring the "Hot Date" achievement
  • Note: This is not a "proper" long rest event. It is a cutscene (with some dialogue options) triggered by speaking to Karlach at night in camp while she has an exclamation point over her head. It is possible to get both this event and a "proper" long rest event in a single long rest.

• (Halsin romance) Spend an intimate night with Halsin
  • Note: This scene will not break up a romance with Shadowheart, Astarion, or Karlach as long as the player gets their consent ahead of time.
  • Trigger: Complete Lift the Shadow Curse in Act Two, have high approval, and accept his advances.

• (Lae'zel romance) Lae'zel watches the sun rise with the player character

• (Shadowheart romance) After saving the Nightsong in Act Two, Shadowheart and the player character go for a swim in the ocean and share an intimate night together

• (Shadowheart romance) After killing the Nightsong in Act Two, Shadowheart and the player character desecrate Selûne's statue with the Nightsong's blood and share an intimate night together

• Shadowheart gazes at a statue of Selûne, either being comforted by her parents or crying over their deaths
  • Trigger: After saving the Nightsong in Act Two, Shadowheart saves or kills her parents in the Cloister of Sombre Embrace.

• (Astarion romance) Meet Astarion at his gravestone in the Lower City and potentially spend an intimate night together
  • Trigger: Help Astarion defeat Cazador Szarr and convince him not to become the Vampire Ascendant.

• (Astarion romance) Submit to Vampire Ascendant Astarion and become his vampire spawn
  • Note: Grants the player character the  Vampire Bite ability.
  • Trigger: Allow Astarion to complete the Black Mass ritual to become the Vampire Ascendant.

• Vlaakith visits the camp as an astral projection and promises Lae'zel the 'gift' of "Ascension" if she slays Orpheus

• Romance (or refrain from romancing) the Emperor
  • Trigger: Complete Visit the Emperor's Old Hideout while maintaining a positive relationship with it.

• Four of Astarion's siblings attempt to abduct him

• Aradin and his henchmen try to abduct the Nightsong
  • Trigger: Ensure Aradin lives through Act One, save the Nightsong in Act Two, then meet Aradin outside Sorcerous Sundries, inform him that the Nightsong is at your camp, and fail to dissuade him from staying away from your camp.

• Jaheira argues with Minsc about the latter having rushed into battle against Absolute cultists and gotten himself captured
  • Trigger: Recruit Minsc?
