The Slack-Skinned Head and Mind-Archive Interface can be found side-by-side in the Mind Flayer Colony after defeating a Death Shepherd, some winged horrors and various Zombies.
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Various 'minds' in green jars can be found and inserted into the Mind-Archive Interface, which lets the player have a conversation with the unfortunate creature via the Slack-Skinned Head.
There are 2 minds to be found on the Nautiloid in the Prologue:
There are 6 minds to be found within the Mind Flayer Colony in Act Two:
True Mind - in front of the head in the Necrotic Laboratory.- Willing Mind - on a desk west of the head in the Necrotic Laboratory.
- Butchered Mind - on top of a set of shelves with discarded armour, in the Morgue where Chop works.
- Closed Mind - on a shelf in Ironfinger's room, in the north-western part of the Barracks.
- Fresh Mind - on-top of a stack of mucilaginous boxes beside the elevator leading to the final area.
This mind is unique because speaking to the head can grant the permanent buff Githzerai Mind Barrier:
- Waking Mind - is behind a door in the Necrotic Laboratory, only accessible after solving the brain mapping puzzle.
