Guildmaster,

It has been my honour to provide you with the finest steel this side of the Inner Sea over the past ten years. You've always paid fairly, and your appreciation for small blades and their many methods of concealment has pushed me to improve my craft.

In respect, I come with a request: ten thousand gold, to finance the next step in that craft. You've seen the clanking monstrosities lining our streets. The Steel Watch is a travesty, but the engineering behind them cannot be denied. The alloy in their construction is unique, and completely wasted on metal men. It could do so much more fashioned into arms and armour for flesh and blood fighters - and yours would have the first pick of my stock.
