Dexterity is an ability score and a key ability of Rogues, Rangers, Monks, and other wielders of finesse weapons.
Dexterity affects your Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth skills, as well as your attack rolls for ranged weapons and finesse weapons. It also affects your Initiative and Armour Class.
Dexterity modifier chart[edit | edit source]
Baldur's Gate 3 uses the Point Buy ruleset.

Ways to increase[edit | edit source]
The following items/entities can be consumed/used for a permanent bonus to Dexterity:
- Auntie Ethel's Hair: +1 to any chosen ability
- Mirror of Loss: +2 to any chosen ability, up to a maximum of 24
The following feats can increase Dexterity up to a base value of 20:
- Athlete: +1 to either Strength or Dexterity
- Lightly Armoured +1 to either Strength or Dexterity
- Moderately Armoured +1 to either Strength or Dexterity
- Resilient: +1 to any chosen ability
- Weapon Master +1 to either Strength or Dexterity

- Gloves of Dexterity sets Dexterity to 18
