If Wyll is in the party, he can try to talk his way in -- "My good lady, I am Wyll Ravenguard. I will not pay to enter my own city." In my case, I let Karlach live so he was all horned up and whatnot. Lady responded "Ravenguard? More like the ghastliest tiefling south of Neverwinter."
Not sure if an un-horned Wyll could talk his way in or not.
