If you choose the Nine-Fingers option, then pass the Intimidation check, one of the following options is a second Intimidation check with Advantage.  If you pass both checks, Bugthimble throws Kurwin's Cauterizer at your face to distract you while she makes her getaway.  So you can get it without fighting.  However, it has a red outline, so be careful when you pick it up.  Someone saw me, and called the guards on me. Nine-Fingers Option[edit source]

If you choose the Nine-Fingers option, then pass the Intimidation check, one of the following options is a second Intimidation check with Advantage. If you pass both checks, Bugthimble throws Kurwin's Cauterizer at your face to distract you while she makes her getaway. So you can get it without fighting.
