The so-called Holy City of Elturel has in fact long been a FOUL PIT OF DEVIL-WORSHIPPERS. From the ruling classes to the common folk, the citizens were all TOUCHED BY THE INFERNAL. Whether it was in their BLOOD from birth or they were seduced by its power, they were EVIL TO THEIR CORE.
