Arcane Echomalefaction is a passive feature that applies reverberation on enemies after applying a condition.

Description

When the wearer inflicts a condition upon a hostile creature, they also inflict 2 turns of Reverberation Reverberation.[See: Bugs]

Condition: Reverberation

Reverberation Reverberation

Duration: 2 turns

  • When the entity has 5 or more turns of Reverberation, it takes 1d4Damage TypesThunder damage and must succeed a DC 10  Constitution saving throw or fall Prone Prone. The condition is removed afterward.

How to learn

Granted by the equipment:

Notes

  • Some conditions, such as the Coruscation Ring's Radiating Orb, do not trigger Arcane Echomalefaction.
  • Knocking an enemy Prone, either by spells like Ice Knife or by them walking on Ice created by the boot's wearer, does not trigger Arcane Echomalefaction.

Bugs

  • Due to a hidden condition that gets applied when a ranged weapon attack misses, this passive effect will apply even though it appears it should not.
